About Zoe Sensei
ZOE DURNER-FEILER, or “Zoe Sensei” is a member of the third graduating class of the Japanese Immersion program right here in in Anchorage, Alaska. She received her Bachelors and a Masters in East Asian Studies: Japan from Yale University in 2007. After spending three years teaching English in rural China, Zoe Sensei returned home to Anchorage to pursue a career in teaching Japanese. Her favorite thing to do is curl up with a good book.
